Just a little short of the end of the world, There is a place near the Northern most tip of the "Big Island".  Up the Kohala Mountain where it is cool and everything wants to grow.

The annual Kamehameha Day parade is in June. North Kohala is the Birth Place of King Kamehameha The Great. The original Statue is located in neighboring Kapaau.
